We are currently recruiting for:

1) Skilled Landscaper

T. Moscone & Bros Landscaping is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent Landscaper. The successful candidate will be paid $31.00/hour and receive extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment. This position is based out of our office located at 4025 East 1st Avenue in Burnaby, BC, V5C 3W5. Travel to worksites located throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is required. The language of work is English.

Duties are as follows:

·       Maintaining lawns, gardens, athletic fields, golf courses, parks, interior plantscapes and other landscaped areas;

·       Spreading topsoil and laying sod;

·       Spraying, pruning, cutting and removing trees and shrubs;

·       Constructing landscape and landscape structures;

·       Planting, cultivating and harvesting trees, shrubs, flowers and plants;

·       Operating landscape equipment.

Job requirements:

·       A minimum of one year related work experience.

Assets:

·       Machine operating certifications (ex. Skid Steer, Telescopic Handler)

2) Hardscape Technician

T. Moscone & Bros Landscaping is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent Landscape/Hardscape Technician. The successful candidate will be paid $29.00/hour and receive extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment. This position is based out of our office located at 4025 East 1st Avenue in Burnaby, BC, V5C 3W5. Travel to worksites located throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is required. The language of work is English.

Duties are as follows:

·       Maintaining lawns, gardens, athletic fields, golf courses, parks, interior plantscapes and other landscaped areas;

·       Constructing landscape and landscape structures;

·       Constructing and maintaining outdoor spaces using interlocking bricks, stone, and other hardscape materials;

·       Lay pavers, flagstone, and other hardscape materials with precision;

·       Moving large rocks, working around ponds, and installing features such as patios and retaining walls;

·       Operating heavy tools and landscape equipment.

Job requirements:

·       A minimum of one year related work experience.

3‍) Landscape Maintenance Lead Hand

T. Moscone & Bros Grounds Maintenance is hiring a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent Landscaper Lead Hand. The successful candidate will be paid $25.00/hour and receive extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment. This position is based out of our office located at 4025 East 1st Avenue in Burnaby, BC, V5C 3W5. Travel to worksites located throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is required. The language of work is English.

Duties are as follows:

·       Plant and maintain lawns, gardens, athletic fields, golf courses, parks, interior plantscapes and other landscaped areas;

·       Planting, cultivating and harvesting trees, shrubs, flowers and plants;

·       Provide irrigation and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens;

·       Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products;

·       Direct crews and oversee safety of operations;

·       Operating landscape equipment.

Job requirements:

·       A minimum of two years related work experience.

4) Heavy Equipment Operator

T. Moscone & Bros Landscaping is one of the largest commercial landscaping companies in British Columbia. We are currently recruiting Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.

Job duties

·       Operate heavy equipment including skid steer loaders, backhoes, forklifts, mini excavators and telehandlers to load, relocate, and stage construction and landscaping materials, including soil, gravel, mulch, pavers, block, and lumber.

·       Perform rough grading, leveling, backfilling, snow removal, and site preparation using skid steer equipment.

·       Operate specialized skid steer attachments including augers (post-hole drilling), trenchers, hydraulic breakers, and broom attachments to support excavation and surface preparation activities.

·       Offload supplier deliveries and lift materials to elevated decks, rooftops, and structural installations using telehandler equipment.

·       Load conveyors, slingers, and telebelts with granular materials.

·       Conduct pre-use inspections, equipment safety checks, and lift planning to ensure safe operation and compliance with site safety requirements.

·       Handle fuels and controlled products in accordance with WHMIS standards and follow spill response procedures.

·       Read and interpret blueprints.

·       Prepare accident reports if required.

·       Perform incidental landscaping support duties, including material placement, site cleanup, and assistance with installation of landscape features, as required.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous related work experience is required.

  • Skid Steer, Telehandler, Fall Protection, and WHMIS certificates are a strong asset.

  • Wage: $37/hour

  • Vacation: 4% of gross earnings
